2020 Legislative Issues–Please lend your support to the bills described BELOW by contacting your legislators!

#1 HB 2734 ends the tax break Opioid Distributors receive. This could free up $20 million per year for treatment and recovery support services not funded by Medicaid.

#2 HB 2642 would eliminate pre-authorization requirements for detox and residential treatment. This would allow for immediate access to these settings when someone is ready and willing!

#3 HB 2793 automates the process of vacating criminal conviction record once the sentence has been completed. This will make it easier to access housing, employment and other opportunities.
